Hi. I am new to this site, and have some questions about a machine I'm working on.

I picked up a DFowler G2 about a week ago and have been having some problems with it.

It is getting power, the contact screw is going off, but the armature bar is not moving at all.

Is this a coil problem? It seems like its just not getting any pull at all...

Any and all help would be appreciated!

A machine not running at all has a few possible reasons.

1) The contact area has debris between screw and spring

2)The wire breaks which can happen in several spots. Check the soldering lugs, the wire where it exits the coil bottoms, where the two coils are joined, or it could be broken inside the coil.

If you truly have a Danny Fowler machine then you should have paperwork on it and it should be registered in your name. With that being said he has a great warranty on all of his machines. If you tell me you bought it used the paperwork comes with it still, as the warranty transfers. If you dont have any paperwork you dont have a true Danny Fowler.
